Structure of the Local Committee
The local committee (LC) is lead by the Executive Board (EB) comprised of Local Committee President and Vice Presidents.
The Vice Presidents are responsible for functions/departments, each of them consisting of 1-3 teams. In addition, as a Team Member you have the opportunity to participate in the other 3 programmes that we offer, after fulfilling, of course, their requirements.
In Winter 2012, you can join one of the following teams:
The ER Team is responsible for developing products, doing business consulting, while its members are getting experience in selling and how to act in the business environment.
The team member candidate should have good communication skills, have interest for selling and managing relations with partners.
The Corporate Marketing Team is responsible for all marketing and promotion of the AIESEC brand through organizing events, creating different promotion materials and writing articles for media. Activities are targeted to corporate world.
The team member candidate should be interested in marketing. Prefered skills are writing and/or background in design or video making.
The role of the Global Community Development Program (GCDP ICX) team member is to search various opportunities for bringing volunteer trainees to Tartu. The work includes lobbying and taking part of project fund and NGO events, finding host partners, writing fund applications, conducting incoming trainees’ selection process and dealing with all reception aspects.
Summer Camps – the aim of the camp is to teach young people (between 16 and 20) to take well thought decisions in their lives, by knowing themselves and their opportunities. The camp organizers are looking for one member responsible for logistics and partners. The candidate has be able to work during the summer (from June to the middle of August).
The EP Management Team is responsible for people participating in the volunteering and professional internships, by interviewing the applications, finding suitable internships for them, arranging all the necessary details involved and organizing events for and with the participants in these programmes . The team member candidates should have good communication skills, independent and enthusiastic about helping people.
