What I will do
After you have got a teamwork experience or been on an internship abroad, you can apply to become a team leader of one of the teams or become a project manager with your own project idea.
AIESEC is all about developing young people’s leadership skills and leading a team of 3-5 people is a great way to get the first impression of managing, team building, delegating tasks and a lot more. The most important aspect is that through all of the above, you also learn a lot about yourself.
In general, as Teal Leader in AIESEC in Estonia you can:
- Lead a functional team of 5-7 people at the local level and also get practical skills in departments as: incoming exchange, outgoing exchange, external relations, communications, human resources, finance and project management.
- Run a project team and make changes in our society.
- Be the president or member of the local executive board in charge of coordinating development and activities of about 70 – 90 volunteers.
- Join the national leadership team – coordinating objectives, partnerships, and strategies of the entire AIESEC country.
- Form part of a global support team to drive strategies and develop resources in a particular area.
- Work abroad for an AIESEC local or national team in a different country for a period of 2 to 12 months.
- Be a member of the AIESEC International team and work side by side with other 20 young people, leading the future of the global organization for one year.
